Delegation from Republic of Lithuania visited

The delegation led by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania visited our center on 27 March 2024. This marked their second visit following their initial one in October 2017.

We were honored to welcome a distinguished delegation. After a welcome speech by President Nakagama, the Minister of Health Professor Dulkys delivered greetings and provided an update on the current situation. Dr Nakamura, Director of the Department of International Clinical Development, then presented an overview of NCC Hospital and its clinical research. This was followed by a presentation on cancer genomic medicine in Japan by Dr Kohno, Director of the Center for Cancer Genomics and Advanced Therapeutics (C-CAT). The delegation also toured facilities such as the Biobank, and engaged in lively exchanges, with many questions posed by the Lithuanian side. Discussions were held to exchange views for future research collaboration between the two countries.
