Short Biography

Dr. Momoko Iwamoto is a medical epidemiologist at the Health Services Division. After obtaining her BS in Biology from Duke University and MD from Gunma University, she worked as a resident of Critical Care Medicine at the Minato Red Cross Hospital in Yokohama. Her experience of encountering health and social disparity in her practice drew her interest in public health research. She obtained her MPH in Global Epidemiology at Emory Rollins School of Public Health, and later joined the National Cancer Center in 2013.
