Visit to Norman E. Sharpless MD and his delegation at the National Cancer Institute
On August 16, 2018, NCC representatives met with Dr. Norman E. Sharpless (Director of the National Cancer Institute) on the NCI main campus in Bethesda, Washington D.C., where they discussed current and future collaboration topics.
In addition, the NCC delegation had the opportunity to share views and expectation at a roundtable discussion with the NCI Division Leadership. Topics of discussion included rare and pediatric cancers, microbiome research and new markers for diagnostic. More interaction among specialists from both sides is expected in the near future.
