Dr Nakagama, President of National Cancer Center (NCC) visited National Cancer Institute of Thailand upon the kind invitation from Dr Weerawut Imsamran, Director of National Cancer Institute of Thailand, on 12 December 2018.
On the day, the two organizations signed a new agreement to expand cooperation, fortifying the relationship established over half a century ago. Besides collaboration in cancer registries, in recent years the two institutions have jointly worked on projects for pathology diagnosis systems connecting distant centres. With the new agreement, we hope to reinforce our relationship with this key leader in Asia, resulting in many projects to come. Preceding the signing ceremony, Dr Nakagama also delivered a keynote address at the 14th National Cancer Conference.
