Health and Medical Delegation from Viet Nam visited
June 29, 2022
On June 16 this year, a healthcare delegation from Viet Nam visited the National Cancer Center. The Center has a partnership with Viet Nam, having signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2018 with the Viet Nam National Cancer Hospital and issued a joint statement last year. On the day of the visit, they exchanged views on international clinical research and cooperation in medical treatment, and confirmed that they will continue to cooperate for the development of cancer treatment and cancer research between Japan and Viet Nam.
Dr Nguyen Tien Quang, President of the Viet Nam National Cancer Hospital, also participated in the meeting as a member of the delegation of the Central Committee of Health Care for Senior Government Officials visiting Japan. It is hoped that these exchanges will lead to further development of cooperative relations between Japan and Viet Nam.
