Thai FDA Officials Visited NCC Kashiwa Campus for Training Program
On January 15, 2025, five officials from the Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) under the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, JICA expert and one staff member from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Thailand Office, visited the Kashiwa campus of the National Cancer Center Japan (NCC) as part of their training program.
This visit was conducted under JICA's " Regulatory Systems Strengthening Program" project in Thailand, which aims to enhance the review capabilities of Thai FDA officials. During the visit, NCC shared its initiatives and operational practices in developing regenerative medical products, based on its extensive experience in regenerative medicine and pharmaceutical reviews. The program also included active discussions on challenges in clinical development and regulatory standards for regenerative medical products.
NCC will continue to contribute to the future of medicine by advancing regenerative medicine and fostering collaboration with medical and research institutions worldwide.
