Section of Cancer Genomics Repository

Introduction

 Our section was established in June 2018 as a section of the Center for Cancer Genomics and Advanced Therapeutics(C-CAT).

The Team and What We Do

 The Section of Cancer Genomics Repository collects clinical data and genomic data from core hospitals for cancer genomic medicine, affiliated hospitals and cancer genomics laboratories.

Education

 When cancer genetic testing was started as insurance practice, explanatory meetings were held for those involved in the core hospitals for cancer genomic medicine and affiliated hospitals.

 And on-the-job training for new staff.

Future prospects

 We will support the operation and system of cancer genetic testing in insurance practice. In addition, we will manage the data so that it can be used secondarily.
