E-learning on security-related topics was conducted for hospital staff. In addition, a monthly newsletter was published to promote IT literacy. In-hospital lectures were provided on the severity of illness and the level of medical care required. Lectures were given to students of the Department of Medical Informatics at Tokyo Healthcare University.
Education on project management was mainly provided to the department through on-the-job training. In addition, support was provided for medical information technicians to acquire qualifications.
Future Prospects
In FY2020, we successfully completed the renewal of the hospital information system. In the future, we will work to resolve issues and achieve stable operations. In addition, as the adopted demonstration projects will lead to the improvement of patient services, we will conduct activities to contribute to the further improvement of the value of the Hospital. In the research field, we were able to obtain joint research funding with a company, and we will continue to conduct research with the aim of obtaining further funding in the coming year.
