Future Prospects

 The Ethical Review Support Section operates the Institutional Review Board (IRB) based on the Clinical Trials Act. The IRB of the National Cancer Center Hospital (NCCH) was certified on March 31, 2018 by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) as an IRB as set forth in the Clinical Trials Act (referred to as "CRB"). We continue to deliberate on and improve the appropriate and effective methods of the review process, as the NCCH Ethical Review Support Section, which operates the reviews.
