Introduction

 The Division of Data Utilization was established in October 2022.

 Regarding data utilization, there are scenarios where the same clinical data is used across multiple projects. Therefore, beyond IRB review, it is necessary to establish and implement hospital policies addressing issues such as security, privacy, and personal information protection. The Division of Data Utilization resolves these challenges.

The Team and What We Do

 We discussed and began implementing a common template for use within the hospital and built functionality to utilize the registered data.

 Regarding large-scale data collection projects such as the 6NC-EHRs project, we examined the scope of cases to be provided and the associated data items.

Research Activities

 We are developing a foundational system for providing clinical data externally, equipped with case selection functionality to support such projects.

Clinical Trials

 We support clinical trials operations.

Future Prospects

 Through monthly meetings and frequent email conferences, we will establish data usage application procedures and review criteria, conduct actual reviews and data provision, promote structured data within the hospital, and develop common templates necessary for cancer treatment.
