Olympus Laboratory

Receiving a great deal of cooperation from many HCPs since the early days of the invention of a gastro camera, Olympus has been developing gastrointestinal endoscopes which offer high medical values.
Lately we opened Olympus Laboratory on the premises of National Cancer Center Japan to establish an R&D framework system to develop endoscopes with much higher values benefiting from "being close to the actual healthcare settings"

Olympus Laboratory is determined to:

1. Always provide opportunities of free discussions between the HCPs and our engineers,
2. Contribute the cooperaton with not only the HCPs of gastroenterology but also those of other departments such as pathologists and surgeons in order to obtain diverse points of view,

and develop various medical devices which create novel medical values.
