“Zir-Net” Association started

Currently, radiotheranostics, in which cancer lesions are detected by radiopharmaceuticals and they are treated by emitters of alpha particles or beta particles, are attracting strong attention. “Zir-Net” Association, the research association of Zr-89 labeled PET compounds toward the application of radionuclide therapy, started under the leadership of Dr. Hirofumi Fujii, M.D., Ph.D., the chief of Division of Functional Imaging, National Cancer Center and Professor Hiroyuki Nishiyama, M.D., Ph.D., the chairman of Department of Urology, Tsukuba University. Its kick-off meeting was held on February 16th, 2019.
