MOU signed with Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital

The National Cancer Center Hospital and Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital (TMUCIH) signed a new agreement on 13 July 2020.

TMUCIH was established as the first hospital specialized in cancer treatment in China in 1952. After hosting doctors from TMUCIH since 2009, Dr Shimada, (former) vice-president and Chief of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery visited Tianjin upon invitation and was conferred with the title of honorary professor at TMUCIH on 16 November 2018.
In return, in June 2019, Prof Hao,(former) vice-president and other four doctors visited NCC Hospital. In light of the good relationship between two hospitals and the timing of both Dr Shimada and Prof Hao appointment respectively as the hospital president and director, we agreed to sign to further enhance our collaboration in the future. The video conference celebrating the signing the MOU was conducted with the presence of Prof Wei Lu, Party Secretary of TMUCIH in the friendly atmosphere on September 1.
