Cancer Registration and Cancer Control Course

As part of the collaboration between the National Cancer Centers of Japan, China and Korea, a series of lectures on cancer registration and cancer control were organized for ASEAN countries from December 16th to 18th. It was delivered on the web for 3 days.
Tomohiro Matsuda, Division of International Collaborative Research, Center for Public Health Sciences spoke as a lecturer representing NCC Japan, along with Dr Freddie Bray, Section Head of Cancer Surveillance at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), Dr Wenqiang Wei of NCC China, Dr Young-Joo Won of NCC Korea and Dr Edmund Cedric A Orlina of Philippines Rizal Cancer Registry.
More than 5,000 people involved in cancer control in ASEAN and China connected to take in the lectures, reaffirming the importance of promoting cancer registration and cancer control in collaboration with Asian countries.
