News
In the Division of Supportive Care Research Laboratory, we are trying to develop novel compounds for 1) analgesics for intolerable and morphine-resistant severe pain, and 2) reducing of side-effects induced by chemotherapy and symptoms of cancer cachexia, by focusing on unmet-medical needs. Further, translational research from innovative seeds to first-in-human exploratory clinical trials is our main focus in the laboratory, and some of them are ongoing.
We are collaborating with several universities, companies and particularly, the Innovation Center for Supportive, Palliative and Psychosocial Care and J-SUPPORT located in National Cancer Center Hospital to proceed above activities. We also call for our next collaborators to develop novel compounds to improve QOL in cancer patients.
